The new windows arrived this week, which added to the fun already going on in the kitchen. I don't know if you can tell from these pictures, but it's amazing what a difference they make to the look of the house. It looks a bit less like it's haunted or just abandoned.

Again, these are Superior brand vinyl windows in the color almond. The upstairs are all double hung, which makes them easier to clean, and the downstairs are single hung. They're all Low E, (whatever that means) but we didn't go for the Argon gas option because our rep at Lowes said it just doesn't make that much difference.
